In the city centre, you will find amazing places to sleep and eat for every kind of travel (guesthouse, hotels). This is a city where you can easily stay for a week thanks to the large choice of activities to do and places to visit! This the departure of many treks improvise your trip and find people to bring with you.
The food is a mix of indian and tibetan specialities with a lot of vegetables and not that much meat. You can find a guesthouse or an hotel at the last minute but in July-August, it is preferrable to reserve before to be sure to get a room in the targeted place.
